Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use the ASH Esports website, dashboard, recruitment forms, team tools, events, Discord-connected features, or other services we provide.
Who We Are
ASH Esports is a competitive esports organisation and community. References to ASH, we, us, and our mean ASH Esports and the people authorised to operate its website, teams, recruitment process, and community spaces.
Using Our Services
You must use our services lawfully and in line with these terms, the rules of any ASH team or event you join, and the rules of third-party platforms such as Discord, Riot Games, Twitch, and league operators.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit, including applications, availability, Riot IDs, match details, notes, images, and account settings. Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or intended to disrupt our systems or community.
Accounts and Discord
The dashboard uses Discord sign-in. When you sign in with Discord, you authorise us to use Discord OAuth for identity, email, and server-join features. Where configured, signing in may add you to the ASH Esports Discord server using Discord's guild join permission.
ASH staff and bots may use Discord to manage community access, team roles, channels, announcements, recruitment updates, direct messages, and results posts. Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own terms and policies.
Keep your account secure. You must not share access, impersonate another person, evade moderation, or use another person's account without permission.
Recruitment and Teams
Applications, trials, roster decisions, coaching access, team roles, and event participation are decided by ASH staff or authorised team managers. Submitting an application or joining the Discord does not guarantee a trial, roster place, staff role, prize, payment, or continued participation.
We may remove, suspend, or change access to teams, tools, events, Discord roles, channels, or the dashboard where needed for conduct, safety, integrity, operational, or security reasons.
Content and Results
You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant ASH Esports permission to use it to operate and promote the organisation, including displaying rosters, avatars, applications to authorised reviewers, match results, hall of fame entries, social posts, Discord messages, and related team materials.
Do not upload or submit content unless you have the rights and permissions needed for ASH to use it in this way.
Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with third parties including Discord, Riot Games APIs, Twitch, Vercel services, analytics, storage providers, and configured webhook or form services. Those services may change, be unavailable, or apply their own terms. ASH Esports is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord, Riot Games, or Twitch unless expressly stated.
Availability and Liability
We aim to keep the website and dashboard useful, but they are provided as available. We may update, interrupt, restrict, or stop parts of the services. To the fullest extent allowed by law, ASH Esports is not responsible for indirect losses, lost opportunities, lost data caused by third-party outages, or issues outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the organisation, website, dashboard, or Discord usage changes. The updated version will apply from the date shown on this page.
Contact
For questions about these terms, contact an ASH Esports administrator through the ASH Discord server or the channel where you normally communicate with ASH staff.
